Kevin Ho Man Cheng is currently a postdoctoral researcher with the Center for Machine Vision and Signal Analysis, University of Oulu, Finland. He received the Ph.D. degree from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the M.Sc. degree from the University of Hong Kong. His research work has been published in top tier journals, including IEEE TPAMI and IEEE TIP. He has also severed as a reviewer for journals and conferences such as TPAMI, CVPR, and ICCV. His research interests include biometrics, computer vision, image processing, and deep learning.

Hanlin Mo received the BE degree from Beihang University (BUAA) in 2015, and the Ph.D degree in computer science from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2021. He is now a post-doctoral researcher with the Center for Machine Vision and Signal Analysis (CMVS), University of Oulu, Finland. His research interests include invariant feature extraction for various types of data and affective computing. In the EmotionAI project, his research mainly focuses on designing an automatic method for distinguishing and understanding genuine and fake expressions across cultures by using effective hand-crafted and learned features.

Qianru Xu is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Machine Vision and Signal Analysis (CMVS), University of Oulu, Finland. She received her Ph.D. degree in psychology from the University of Jyväskylä and continued her career at CMVS in the interdisciplinary field. Her research interests include facial and bodily expression recognition, human-computer interaction, and the neural basis of emotional and somatosensory processing.

I am now a final-year PhD candidate at CMVS, University of Oulu, and supervised by Prof. Guoying Zhao. I was a visiting scholar at CEL, Delft University of Technology for six months and technical consultant for NIE, Nanyang Technological University. I received my M.S. degree in at CMVS, University of Oulu (supervised by Prof. Guoying Zhao) in 2017. My research interests include Human Action Recognition, 3D Generation, Emotion AI with publications on top-level conferences and journals (ICCV, CVPR, AAAI, TIP, etc.)

Yante Li is now a final-year PhD candidate at CMVS, university of Oulu. She was a visiting scholar at Ibug, Imperial College London for three months. Her current research interests include micro-expression analysis, facial action unit detection and 3D generation. She published papers on conference and journals, such as TIP and Neurocomputing.

I am a fourth-year PhD candidate at CMVS, University of Oulu. I've worked previously on lung nodule segmentation in collaboration with UniTS Trieste and KIT Kyoto. My current research is on remote physiological measurements, with a focus on robustness, identity and security. I have published works on this topic in ECCV, BMVC, IEEE FG and ICPR.
